Our mission is to bring people together around authentic, award-winning BBQ that tells a story of hard work, community, and love of flavor. From our humble beginnings in a Philadelphia backyard to our nationwide food redemption journey, we strive to create a taste experience that inspires and satisfies, with every sauce and bite.

How It Started

SSR BBQ's story began in a backyard in the suburbs of Philadelphia, where pitmaster Steve Sobuto cooked up colossal Dino beef ribs for friends. It was through this communal experience of food and flavor that SSR BBQ was born, with the mission of bringing people together around the kitchen, backyard, or tailgate.

Over the years, SSR BBQ has honed its craft and perfected its recipes, winning numerous awards at BBQ contests and earning a loyal following of supporters. The secret to their success has always been hard work and a passion for creating delicious, authentic BBQ.
